Don't be confused by the name. This is the previously promised "Author's Edition." The publishing company decided that "Special Edition" would sell better. At this time, we haven't heard if there will be a hardback edition. If you'd really like to see a hardback edition, you can ask about it here. That's where it matters.
James has set aside a few to be signed and sold on the eBay store. I'll let you know when they go up.

I recently discovered the Special Edition at my local Barnes and Noble and immediately brought it home to be companion to my older edition.
I can't explain how much I would love to be able to own a signed copy of this book and so I have to ask:
When will the signed copies be available for purchase?
Also, does James plan to make any trips out to California (preferably northern) anytime remotely soon?
With the new Special Edition book out and about rekindling my old love and kinship for and towards The Crow, it would be awesome to be able to catch James at a convention and give him my thanks in person.
Happy Halloween to you both, with:
shiny red balloons for James
and the best of luck with schooling for you!

I had been looking for the graphic novel of The Crow for the past 5 years or so; unable to find it anywhere when I browsed comic book stores & regular book stores in cities I had frequented in Australia....but just today, in my new home town of Winnipeg, I stumbled across the special edition of The Crow....I've already read it once through and I am so incredibly pleased that the book has been released.
